CALM iT Services Ltd was established in 2007 by Chris Tuckey initially as a vehicle for the provision of his freelance iT services to the Oil and Gas Sector. With customers such as Shell, Greenergy and Vopak the work centred around database design and data migration.
Why call the organisation “CALM”? Well it’s just an acronym formed from the initial letters of family members’ first names.
As the world approached COVID, Oil and Gas gave way to Public Sector (NHS Primary Care, HMRC and DWP), Banking and SME’s such as Driving Schools/Instructors. Then with perfect (ironic) timing we launched CALM Theatre Sounds, a theatre focussed audio hire company serving the whole of the UK.
Our current projects are:
- Design, implement and host WordPress based sites for local organisations.
- Integration of Google Merchant Center with Woocommerce and back office databases.
- Application on a page plugin for WordPress to complement Woocommerce and integration with Yamaha QL mixers and Audinate’s Dante Controller.
